
Who we are
Port in the Storm was set up in 2025 as the University of Portsmouth's in-house games development, production, and publishing studio.
Based in the School of Film, Media, and Creative Technologies, our goal is to support commercialisation of game development projects from our talented students, academic staff, and alumni network.

Our Games

White Lake (Coming 2026)
White Lake is a narrative game set in an infinite white void. Explore the strange expanse, witness the fate of its faceless inhabitants, piece together the fragmented world, and learn the secrets of White Lake.
This game was a collaborative project led by We Be Dragons, with Cold Cactus Games, University of Portsmouth game design and game art staff, and contributions from several undergraduate and postgraduate students on the University's Games Art, Design, Technology, and Production programmes.
